Lizard/Human Hybrid

NOTE:

Character came around from Super-Soldier concept. Then came what was the project trying to do. My idea was the project was trying to develop soldiers that can perform in situations dealing with biological and chemical weapons. Building on this idea I associated resistance (and healing, regeneration) with Lizards. Originally the character was male but when looking for an image the above was the only one I enjoyed.

USE

The character can be on loan or transferred to a hero team to put her abilities and skills to good use.

BACKGROUND

was a department of the Armies R&D department where they tried to mimic then impart abilities of animals to their soldiers. ( Navy divers that can work underwater without air tanks or pressure suits. Night time soldiers with night site. and the like.)

Project Chimera is the usual Super Soldier Project . The army or a project funded by the army was working on adaptations/creations of soldiers that can perform in environments normally hostile to human soldiers. Further ideas came from the thought that their might be some animals the not only survive but thrive in such environments. If the project was able to adapt or create a soldier that can adapt to the environment just like said animal well.

One branch of the project took willing (and sometimes committed) subjects and altered them with animal DNA/RNA. A new branch decided to start from scratch, i.e.. introduce animal RNA/DNA at the EGG/SPERM level of conception.

One program was to develop a soldier that could survive in harsh environments where the enemy uses chemical and biological weapons. The animal they decided to incorporate was the Lizard with its regenerative ability. As they prepared the Egg and Sperm they also altered and hyped up the immune system and regenerative capabilities.

The 'mother' gave birth to 2 children. One did not survive long. the other was Lizz.

Lizz matured fast. in the beginning she was trained like an animal but soon it was discovered she had a growing human intelligence along with her growing human appearance.

Since she was 'created' for to be a soldier she was trained in combat and wilderness survival. But after severely hurting her first combat trainer she would no longer start a fight or 'go' into battle. But she will protect herself and her companions. (Physically she was a teenager but chronologically, she was a child)

Not wanting to or willing to 'scrap' the project they decided to incorporate her into the public center (A government sponsored heroine).

She was given a control agent (Friend/Teacher/Commander) to help integrate her into civilian life.

POWERS

Surprisingly she does not have that many powers. She has scaly hide for protection, a tail, a boosted regenerative ability and a supped up immune system. Lastly she has some extra movement (running, leaping, swimming) and a sensitive tongue.
